Poetry for Neanderthals
A word-guessing party game where you can only use one-syllable words.
Shabbos note: I don’t use the sand timer on Shabbos. Use a watch or another method to time each round, and ask your own Rabbi what works for your home.
My take
Nothing says fun like getting the chance to hit your friends, and don’t worry, it doesn’t hurt! The club is inflatable.
How it plays
Teams guess the words and phrases their teammate is giving clues for, but the clue-giver can only use one-syllable words. If you slip and use a longer word, the other team gets to bop you with the inflatable club.
Good to know
- 2 or more players, ages 7 and up
- About 15 minutes to play
- Comes with 200 double-sided cards, game boards, an inflatable club, and a sand timer (see the note above)
