My take
A little bit of childhood nostalgia meets high-stakes balancing fun! This is a classic so many of us remember playing as kids, and it’s just as suspenseful today. Every bean you add makes the pot wobble a little more, and everyone holds their breath waiting to see who tips it.
There’s no reading, the rules take about a minute to explain, and it’s a great way for little hands to practice going slow and steady.
How it plays
Players take turns placing one bean at a time into the pot, which balances on a stand. If the pot tips and beans spill out, the player who tipped it has to take all the spilled beans. The first player to get rid of all their beans wins.
