About Shabbos Games

Hi, I'm a mom who loves board games. I started this site to help other families enjoy games on Shabbos in a way that fits with halacha.

Shabbos is a special time for families to sit together, and games are one of my favorite ways to do it. But it isn't always easy to know which games will work. So I started collecting them in one place, with simple descriptions, ages, and player counts for each.

How I choose games

I don't decide what is right for your home. Every game here is one I have personally played, and every game is screened for following Chabad Shabbos customs. Customs differ between families and communities, so please check with your own Rabbi too, especially for versions, expansions, and parts like timers or electronics.
